Keeping Friends Afloat 2010

In 2009 Columbia Swim Club started the Keeping Friends Afloat program to
honor two amazing moms and friends, Diana Ash and Laurie Lightner, who
lost their lives to breast cancer. Read
the Keeping Friends Afloat Story.
This year, the Keeping Friends Afloat program will be contributing to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Jim Devine, one of CSC and swimming's biggest supporters who passed away this year.
Once again, 50% of the proceeds will go to the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association and 50% will go to the KFA Scholarship fund. The KFA Scholarship is available to CSC families who have had financial hardship as a result of medical bills or other hardships.
We will kick off the event with tee shirt sales at the Monster Mash intrasquad meet (Oct 30) and all CSC swimmers will get KFA Swim Cap to wear Saturday of the Jim Devine Memorial Meet Nov 19-21, 2010 in Columbia.
