When Blue Springs’ Zach Bolin dived off the starting block to swim the anchor leg of the boys 400-yard freestyle relay at yesterday’s COMO Invite, his team was in third place. The Wildcats trailed Rock Bridge by 0.16 seconds and Kickapoo by 2.63 seconds. -

After Thursday’s practice, Rock Bridge and Hickman boys swimming Coach John Hamilton said the top teams in the state have a handful of athletes who can swim just about any stroke any distance and finish with a quality time.
