1) Annual USA Registration Fee of $55 is due for each RETURNING swimmer at registration and is non-refundable (paid at FALL quarter for the following year).
2) Non-refundable new member registration fee of $75 is due for each new
member joining the club (see below for items included in new member
registration)
Columbia Swim Club Membership Dues and
Registration Fee Policy
There is a $75 non-refundable registration fee for new swimmers joining
Columbia Swim Club. This fee includes USA Swimming Registration, 2 swim
caps and 1 t-shirt (new member fee may be prorated if items not
available). New swimmers must pay membership dues and registration fees
in full prior to practicing with club. Swimmers are eligible for a
refund of membership dues after a two week trial period if they choose
not to continue with the program. Please note that the registration fee
is non-refundable.
Payment
Payments for all items will be submitted through the online Thriva
system can be paid with Echeck, Credit or Debit Card online.
Families opting to pay by paper check may mail check to CSC PO Box 269,
Columbia MO 65205 but must utilize the online system for meet entry,
balance inquiry and swimmer registration.
Due Dates and Late Fees
Columbia Swim Club membership dues are payable quarterly and are due on
September 1, December 1, March 1 and June 1.
Full payment is due on the first day of each quarter and is considered
delinquent after the 15th of the first month of each quarter. After the
15th a late fee of $25 per account will be assessed. Quarterly dues will
not be prorated for absences; swimmers swimming any part of the quarter
must pay for the entire quarter.
Delinquent Account Policy
If accounts are 45 days delinquent the family's swimmer (s) will no
longer be permitted to participate in any aspect of program including
practices, meets or other club functions. No swimmer will be entered in
a meet if the family’s account is not current.
Returned Check Policy
All checks to the Club returned for insufficient funds will be subject
to a $25 service fee.
Meet Fees
Meet fees are due at time of meet registration and are NON-REFUNDABLE
once the entries have been sent to the host team.
The $10 CSC surcharge will only be charged to the first two family
members attending the swim meet. The third and any subsequent swimmers
will not pay the $10 surcharge.
Notification of Swimmers not participating
in program
If a swimmer opts not to swim in a quarter the Business Manager must be
notified via email 15 days prior to the start of the quarter
(membership@csctigersharks.org).
Mutil-Swimmer Discount
Families with more than one child swimming will be subject to the
following discounts: 1st child: Full price, 2nd child: $15, discount,
3rd child: $75 discount, 4th or more: $125 discount
Refunds
No dues refunds will be made except for medical reasons.
Meet Hospitality Surcharge ($10 per quarter, per family)
This $10 per quarter fee is charged to offset the cost of meet
hospitality that is provided to coaches and officials when CSC hosts
meets - our biggest fundrasiers. The hospitality room is an area that
provides meals to meet workers who are at the meet all day, sometimes up
to 12 hours without leaving. By charging a $10 fee per quarter to
membership we are able to provide food to the coaches and officials
without incurring costs or relaying solely on donations.
