The CSC Board of Directors would like to
officially announce that Gary Galbreath has agreed to become the
new Head Coach and General Manager of CSC.
For the past six years Gary has been the
Senior Group coach of the Dayton Raiders. Gary has helped
develop the Dayton Raiders into one of the top clubs in the
country and in 2013 and 2014 USA Swimming recognized the Raiders
as a Gold Medal Club.
Gary helped to lead the Dayton Raider men
to a Summer Junior National team championship in 2012 and a 3rd
place finish in 2013, and the combined teams finished 6th
and 5th in those same years. In 2012 Gary
had eight high school age swimmers qualify for the Olympic
Prior to his time with the Dayton Raiders,
Gary was the Aquatic Director/Head of Competitive Swimming for
the Kettering/South YMCA in Ohio. Gary’s YMCA teams were
consistently among the best in the nation and Gary was
recognized as the National Coach of the Year in 1998.
Gary will be in Columbia when practices
start next week and he is excited about getting the opportunity
to lead Columbia Swim Club.
Columbia Swim Club Achieves Silver Medal Status
Swim Club has achieved Silver Medal status for 2014! Less then
5% of the swim club in the nation have achieved this level. It

Deck conference room. There is always time for public comment at
the beginning of each meeting.
